The collection is being written, so check back.
The album will be made available for download when complete.

The intention of this collection is to provide free flute music.
The flutes used to record these songs start with my first one
using PVC pipe to see if I could do it. There are several
bamboo flutes and one inexpensive 6 hole flute from Amazon.com.
I was not a flute player before building my first flute.  I wrote
and recorded my first song on the first day my PVC flute was
finished.  I am a guitarist since 1955, so while I do have decades
of experience playing music, the flute is brand new to me.
I encourage anyone with an interest to try it. It is rewarding.

Whether your build your own or purchase one is up to you.  There are many
fine flute makers out there.  I am just a beginner, so I wanted
to show what could be done with a little enthusiasm and determination.

There are many deserving flute players out there with wonderful
albums they have recorded. I encourage you to find some that
you like and support these musicians by purchasing a copy.
We need more musicians like them.

These recordings are written as they were being recorded.
Any percussion is determined before the flute line is played.
They are recorded with humble hand made flutes in a humble studio.

As time permits, I will add to this site. I am working on a tutorial on how to make an inexpensive 5 hole bamboo flute. There are many good tutorials aleady on the web.  I will also provide a page on how to go about carving the block for the flute.
